Stephanie Carter M.D. - Medical Director  -  Dr. Carter received her Medical Degree from the University of Colorado, School of Medicine. She served a tour in the Army completing her Internal Medicine internship at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Carter went on to serve at duty stations in Camp Humphrey, Korea and Fort McPherson, Georgia. After completing her military commitment, she finished her residency in Atlanta, Georgia at the Atlanta Medical Center where she also served as Chief Resident. After training she returned to the Washington D.C. area and worked briefly with George Washington University.

Dr. Carter joined Mount Vernon Internal Medicine in 1999 and today serves as both the Vice President of Mount Vernon Internal Medicine and the Medical Director for Eternal Med Spa.

Jennifer's philosophy is honest and straight forward. She spends time with her clients, getting to know them and guiding then gently to the results they wish to achieve. "There is nothing better than a satisfied customer who looks and feels great because of the treatments I've provided."

As Manager of Eternal Med Spa, Jennifer has recruited a team of top talent who work together to make sure all clients feel comfortable and their needs are met. "We want every visit to our med spa to be exceptional and memorable!"

Jill Forbes, RN, CNP  -  Jill earner her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee. Following college, she worked for 5 years as a nurse in the Intensive Care Unit of the Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Virginia. Jill received her Master's Degree in nursing and certification as an Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner from George Mason University/George Washington University Collaborative Nurse Practitioner Program.

"The refreshed, younger look and self-confidence that exudes from clients after receiving dermal fillers and Botox/Dysport is very rewarding. Everyone loves and deserved to feel good about themselves, which is why I was drawn to Aesthetics. I aim to please and want my clients to be happy with their treatments and results."

Jill is currently a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner at Mount Vernon Internal Medicine and performs aesthetic treatments at Eternal Med Spa Wednesdays, Thursdays and some Saturdays.

Elizabeth Lawhon, RN, CNP  -  Liz graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Biomedical Science. Liz then went on to attend Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, where she completed her Master's Degree in Nursing and Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Liz is a Board  Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Mount Vernon Internal Medicine and performs aesthetic treatments at Eternal Med Spa several times a week.

"I became interested in cosmetic aesthetics because I really enjoy how excited and happy people are when they feel better about the way their skin looks. I love having the knowledge and ability to do facial augmentation with injectables and laser technology, because it give people the option to remain youthful and reverse damage without plastic surgery, which often times can be dangerous."

Anita's favorite product is SkinMedica's Recovery Complex. "It is the product that really showed a significant change in my skin. It resorted a more youthful skin tone and texture. Its a product no one should go without, regardless of age or skin type!"

Yanick Malone, Certified Massage Therapist  -  Yanick, who is originally from upstate New York, began her Massage Certification Program upon relocating to the Northern Virginia area and is Nationally Certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB). Yanick has been a Licensed and Certified Massage Therapist for 8 years.

"The idea of massage has always appealed to me because I love to help others. There are few jobs as rewarding. My favorite massage technique is the Hot Stone Massage. The heat gets down to the belly of the muscle and instantly delivers therapeutic relaxation!"

Debbie is a nationally Certified Massage Therapist, who also holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from San Diego State University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Megan Redmon, Certified Massage Therapist  -  Megan received her training from the National Massage Therapy Institute in Falls Church, Virginia. After completing the program, Megan became nationally certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) and is licensed in the state of Virginia. She has been practicing massage for 4 years and is a Licensed and Certified Massage Therapist.

Desrick Halls, Certified Massage Therapist  -  Desrick Halls receive his training from the National Massage Therapy Institute located in Falls Church, VA.  Desrick has natural gift for massage therapy, with a strong desire to help people. He is an active member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals and is a Licensed and Certified Massage Therapist.

Desrick uses a combination of various massage techniques including, Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports massage. His sessions are catered towards the client's individual needs, dedicating his efforts to nurturing the body and mind, bringing deep relaxation and harmony through positive touch.
